Fundamental Learning Programs

Bridge the Gap from Pre-Algebra to Algebra 1

Taught by an experienced middle school math teacher (Kara Ryan), this course will help rising 8th and 9th graders solidify and enrich their pre-algebra skills and content.

Roots of Reading and Writing

Taught by a certified middle school English teachers (including Josh Perrotton), this course will help rising 8th and 9th graders improve their reading and writing skills.

Join peers in grades 6-8 for this informal, fun opportunity to play games and eat Orange Leaf on hot summer nights! We will set up Chess, Xbox, and other suitable games for teens.

Creating Your Voice: Teens Prepare a TEDx

Taught by a certified middle school English teacher (Josh Perrotton) and TEDx speaker (Tara Shuman), this course will help rising 7th and 8th graders improve their public speaking skills. Each student will research, write, and deliver a 5-minute TEDx presentation that could be submitted to a real TEDx event.

Session 1: Week of July 28

Session 2: Week of August 11
